Milan took the lead in the 10th minute with a central drive from Pulisic that surprised Inzaghi’s defense, but Inter equalized in the 28th minute with a precise diagonal shot from Dimarco. Before halftime, Maignan performed a miracle on Thuram, while in the second half, Sommer became the protagonist with several decisive saves; however, in the 89th minute, the Inter goalkeeper could do nothing about Gabbia’s winning header.
